Clean Projects was born in January 2023 when a group of concerned residents united with a common goal - to make a positive impact and transform Benoni into a community we can all take pride in. Guided by the ‘broken window theory’, our mission is grounded in the understanding that addressing seemingly minor issues, like neglected aesthetics and cleanliness, can have a profound effect on the overall wellbeing of an area. Clean Projects has directed it's efforts towards the enhancement of the town’s main entrances and intersections - tasks include grass cutting, kerbing and pathway clearance, litter removal and repainting kerbing. We also cut fields and parks. We have been able to employ a team of 12 labourers and an amazing manager who work 5 days a week. We also organise and run community clean up projects on Saturday mornings. Our motto is ‘Little Things Matter’ and we urge all residents to get involved in any way they can
